In May 2011, MBC awarded various employees of the company in various categories with special achievements and excellence. Among the numerous award winners were Mine Captains, Shift Bosses, Blastmen, Machine Drivers, Mechanics, Drillers and General Labourers.   

On August 26, 2011 MBC Limited received a Gold Award in the category of Best Mining Support Services of the Year at the 8th Ashanti Business Excellence Awards, an annual event organized under the auspices of Manhyia Palace.
